Now, there is no other time of the year where over the top dressing and blinging to the max are more acceptable… or even preferred. After a inevitable amount of fretting you will ensure you pull out all of the stops to accomplish your best look of the year for your Christmas eve and New Years eve do’s (hoping to look your most desirable in an attempt to steal a kiss under the mistletoe). A large majority will stamp out their ensemble impact with a pair of ‘look at me’ shoes. I personally tend to let jewellery do the talking with my night-time looks, a classic dress teamed with an amazing statement necklace or chandelier earrings. I feel like I have been missing a trick as I find myself distracted by so many girls flaunting decorated feet at all the Christmas shindigs. So, a new years resolution is to stop neglecting my feet, who work so hard for me every day, and give them a treat from Tamaris. After Christmas festivities, the abundance of pub trips and frivolous spending, you just can’t justify forking out designer prices for something as seemingly frivolous as evening shoes. If money was no option the embellished Giuseppe Zanotti show-stoppers might well be found on my shoe wish list, but I will be opting for Tamaris fabulously more affordable option……. knowing how well (not very) I walk in heels it would probably be foolish to spend hundreds on a pair of shoes that are essentially doomed to scuffing and heel breaking!!
