It has been hard for me to think about summer dressing without having a holiday booked. Okay, so we can prey that we may be treated to some glorious summer weather in the UK, but it is by no means a given. Thankfully, this week I have managed to book a week in Santorini, a destination that has been on my travel bucket list for a while now. Weirdly it’s a location that has appeared on my Instagram timeline a lot lately, which has fueled my excitement further and given me some great tips on what to do during my stay on the island. Booking a holiday when your partner in crime is in another country, in a different timezone, who doesn’t know when they are going to be free.. and who also thinks there is 31 days in June…..is a very difficult and frustrating experience. We got there in the end, but I won’t be relaxed that it is going to happen till we are actually there and overlooking those iconic blue and white buildings.

Anyhoo, back to the point of this post. This is another Rat and Boa purchase, which I thankfully managed to get in a flash sale. I tend to think their products are too pricey for what you get, but I am always sucked in because they tick a lot of what I am looking for in terms of hippy style.

This is a transluscent animal print maxi, which I guess you could just throw over your bikini if you are feeling body confidence….or if you have that ‘I’m on holiday, and I don’t care’ sort of freeing mindset. I would ideally wear a body con black jersy mini dress underneath .
