I’ve been too hectic to take piccies of outfit’s this week, so here is one extracted from my festival lookbook.
I got given this shirt in a goody bag yonkers ago, but it has just been sitting in my wardrobe, because I didn’t really think it was my sort of thing. For a whim on a particularly dull afternoon, I tried it on and actually liked it! It is the perfect accompaniement to leggings, if you like me you feel your rude bits should be covered. There’s just too much information revealed by the trouser’s tighter sibling. I really like the shape of the sleeves too, it gives it a slightly tough boyish, despite clearly being a girls shirt. It made me feel a bit like Rizzo from Grease, I kept wanting to pop the colour and offer up a sassy retort.
I know a lot of my followers follow a Vegan lifestyle so I am always chuffed when I discover a brand that delivers fashion that is responsible in this area. I love the finish of these leather-look leggings too…the right balance between gloss and matte.
I thought this outfit would be ideal for those festival days where it is pleasant but not quite warm enough to brave a bare leg – which is often the case at outdoor music events in the UK.
The cat eye sunglasses were a bargain, as part of a 3 for £16 deal at Aldo…I personally think they look a lot more expensive. Let’s face it, they will be a mere memory soon….when my recently enlarged arse flattens them .
