Rather than being a constructed outfit formulated to post about, this is what I ended up wearing today. I’m hoping to work from the garden as there appears to be some sun again…FINALLY!
I found the Henry Holland crop on my floor today in a heap of other things I disregarded when packing for holiday. I bought it online in a Debenhams sale yonks ago, because I was a bit sad and wanted to the quick thrill a purchase gives you. I have never worn it till now as its a bit too cropped, and I don’t really feel like showing that much flesh in the UK. As I’m in the garden, and only my family, and the nosey neighbours bouncing on their trampoline can see me, it was my choice for today.
The top is printed denim, so I actually felt a bit confused about what to wear it with. In an ideal world I’d team with a blocked colour full 50’s skirt for a retro look, but for the purposes of sunning myself I just teamed with my Topshop high wasted denim shorts.
I’ve also teamed with my new Missguided Sliders, which have fast become my easy breezy go-to shoes.
